It's not always easy to run mains voltages to where you would like to use the Quasar system, and this is where our Voltage inverter comes into play allowing you to run the lights from a leisure battery.
The voltage inverter sports two UK plug sockets, allowing two Quasar lights to be plugged into the unit. The current draw of one light is 20Ah. Meaning if you have a 100Ah it could potentially power the light for 5 hours. This is of course if the battery is in perfect condition. Plugging two lights into the inverter will halve this time. You can however connect two leisure batteries together in parallel to the double the time should you need to. From our experience, our customers seem to host Quasar for a couple of hours in the evening, so you may find using one leisure battery to be adequate. The higher its Ah capacity the better.
